...and finally

You asked which was my favourite Wennie/Mandie;

Union Flag Wenlock

Would it have ever been any other?

Thanks for following & a special thanks for commenting.  I'll see you soon; I'm catching the train this afternoon.

China Town...Stoke on Trent?

Just off Shelton Street was China Town Wenlock:

That Blue & White reminds me it'll be time to head home back to Stoke Station tomorrow night...a bit of home in our Olympic capital; London!!!

Thanks for accompanying me in the journey - I really enjoyed your enthusiasm and support on text & comments.

See you soon.

So who is this?

Which Wenlock is this?

Maybe he is Giant Wenlock?  (Remembering Giant Wenlock was swopped for Guildhall Wenlock)...or even Doppleganger Wenlock?

MOL says this is Giant Wenlock:

...but that was Guildhall Wenlock!?!?!?

I'm confused...hahaha.  Does this mean I have to seek out EVEN MORE?

Waaah!

Thanks Wenlock & Mandeville!

We had a gas!!!

Yay!

Missing Mandeville!

What happened to Graffiti Mandeville?

He was replaced with Park Wenlock!

How sad...he looked cool!

Saving the best 'til last: the Pink Trail

Yay!  I finally made it - I captured all 82 Wennies & Mandies on film when I finished this walk - the Pink Trail - 13 in all over 2.6km walk through London's West End.

Cool!  I thought two high points of the walk were Victoria Embankment Park and the beautiful Seven Dials (looks just like Paris in my opinion).  In addition Spotlight Mandeville was ace, just tucked away behind Wyndham's Theatre on Charing Cross Road (really cool spot).

The Wennies & Mandies were as such;

  1. Flower Seller Mandeville
  2. Tourist Wenlock
  3. Busker Wenlock
  4. Wenlock
  5. Somerset House Mandeville
  6. Cleopatra's Needle Wenlock
  7. Embankment Wenlock
  8. Novel Wenlock
  9. Trafalgar Wenlock
  10. Filmstar Wenlock
  11. Spotlight Mandeville
  12. China Town Mandeville
  13. Performer Wenlock

So, there you have it.

A-Z Map Wenlock

You know how much I love maps & I loved this Wennie;

It is sited on the bank of the Thames River, just over Lambeth Bridge and really close to the houses of Parliament.  If you look around you you don't really need a map just there - you will recognise it instantly!

Wicked!

I can see a Rainbow!

Wenlock/Mandeville that is...

They celebrate diversity within our country!  Look at Rainbow Mandeville's tummy and it says West Midlands (a picture of a Mandeville from the West Midlands all dressed up on a map of GB).

Funky!

Sherlock Holmes museum

This is on our itinerary next time we come to London;

For sure!

Its elementary, dear family.

I touched the Shard!

OMG - I can't believe it...

Like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow - I actually stood underneath the Shard:

...and touched it!

It is MASSIVE!

PurpleTrail

Hi Guys!

I did the Purple Trail today; 13 Wennies & Mandies and 3.4km around Picadilly, Berkley Square and Regent Street.

The main streets were soooo busy!

Along the trail I have passed through a number of small green spaces in the city; today I traversed a really lovely, peaceful park with all sorts to do including ping-pong and giant connect four.  You would have loved it; it was between numbers 7 & 8; Grosvenor Square.

The list is as follows:
  1. Red Bus Wenlock
  2. Gemstones Wenlock
  3. Queens Guard Wenlock
  4. Tyger Tyger Mandeville
  5. Plane Trees Wenlock
  6. Wenlock
  7. Afternoon Tea Wenlock
  8. Cycling Wenlock (listed as a Cycling Mandeville!)
  9. Shopper Mandeville
  10. Dog Walker Wenlock
  11. Builder Mandeville
  12. Groovy Wenlock
  13. Linen Hall Mandeville
The weather was warm and dry; I even think I caught the sun today!

Groovy Wenlock was a Paisley printed 60's cool dude with Carnaby Street written on his right sleeve must be because it is just around the corner from where it was situated on Regent Street.

Footsore & tired; I miss you all very much.

Catch you later!
